Why are some cultures proactive and others are reactive?
Does it have to do with how the society is organized? ex. farming vs. nomadic..etc
A South Asian neighbour of mine forsaw an issue with one of her children and acted to prevent it from happening, I noticed in general these Asian cultures tend to plan out their children's lives.
