Why are people okay with their spouse having opposite gender friends?

I can never accept if my spouse has opposite gender friends. Like I scroll through r/Muslimmarriage and I see people who are comfortable with this. I have always pondered to myself why is this the case? It's not even a Muslim thing, even plenty of non-Muslims are uncomfortable with their spouses/SOs having opposite gender friends. Do these people not feel any jealousy?

Honestly, for me, the one female friend I want is my wife. In fact I would even say that if she's okay with me having opposite gender friends, it would make me think less of her in the sense that she didn't feel enough jealousy/love for me.
