Why are People just dumb???

This Administrator woman at work who has been really rude and mean to me, based on hearsay she heard from a nemesis of mine has suddenly changed tunes. Yesterday i snapped at her, uncharacteristically for me. Suddenly, instead of me trying to kiss a$$-- she is doing the kiss a$$ing now? WHY? Before i was trying to make calm and peace by appealing to her goodness. It seems people just appreciate some return of nastiness to get respect? Now she is trying to get into my good grace, but it is too late. I spent the entire night before praying to God and Cursing her. Its too late now. Oh and believe me the curses were intense.

If there’s one thing life taught me, people respect you more if you hold your ground and aren’t too nice to them. They appreciate you more and aren’t as likely to use you or try test you. Show that lady there’s a line and make sure she doesn’t cross that boundary. she’ll get the message and appreciate you more

If u show weakness ppl will take advantage of it, U gotta stand ur ground and ur cant bluff, u gotta be real with what u say, only that way will ppl respect u. Ppl dont respect mercy anymore so u cant be too nice to anyone.

Also u should curse specific ppl, maybe Allah will guide them one day

t is not permissible for a Muslim to curse a specific person, animal, or object by name. It is only permissible to curse wrongdoers or oppressors in a general sense without mentioning their proper names.

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: He heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, raising his head from the last bowing in dawn prayer and saying:

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا​

O Allah, curse this person and this person.

Then, Allah revealed the verse:

لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ​

You do not have any decision in the matter whether He will forgive them or punish them. Verily, they are wrongdoers. (3:128)

After this incident, the Prophet (ṣ) would not curse specific people by name and he warned us not to indulge in curses.

Was she some gossip loving front desk worker lol
