One sheikh said alot of people that converted to Islam with ease come from People who were following their previous prophet or rasuul and that prophet made dua to Allah to keep guiding his people

If you look at Polytheistic people in Middle East, the Sahabas had to convert them through War, Force and most were rebellious etc

We seamlessly transitioned from Waddaads who preached 1 God and a set of values, to Islam which has a similar structure and values, we also melded our traditions in, like ancestry veneration.
