This is an interesting, amazing story from England 1765. A slave boy named Jonathan Strong was Pistol Whipped by his white slave owner in England, until he severely injured him. The White man seeing that his slave is badly injured, he leaves him in the street of London to die. But Jonathan did not die. He came upon a man named Granville Sharp. This man was a God send, literally! So determined, so amazing- he took the boy to his brother who is a Surgeon. They took care of him for 4 months- since his injury was significant. Later after recovery Granville Found Jonathan a job. Here is Jonathan's own hand writing

‘I could hardly walk, or see my way, where I was going, When I came to him, and he saw me in that condition, the gentleman take charity of me, and gave me some stoof to wash my eyes with, and some money to get myself a little necessaries until the next day. The day after, I come to the gentleman, and he sent me to hospital: and I was there four months and a half. All the while I was in the hospital the gentleman find me clothes, shoes and stockings, and when I come out, he paid for my lodgings, and a money to find myself some necessaries: till he gets me into a place.’

One day--while the boy was running an errand in the crazy streets of London- in 17th century- his former owner sees him and is shocked how good he looks. He went to a slave owner who was going to Barbados and sold him for 30 pound. Jonathan sent a note to Granville for help. To make the story short- Granville became vigilant to help Jonathan. He studied law for two years and start the Slave abolition. The White slavers threatened Granville and his family- but it didn't work. In the end, Jonathan won the case but he died at the age of 25 in 1773. Slavery was not fully abolished until 1833 in England. Granville died in 1813.

Isn't this amazing yaaqee??? Walaahi I give glory to Allaah swt our Moulla---to make us be alive in this age of law and order.
