A Yemeni girl I'm subscribed to just posted a new video on Lahoh. I never knew Yemenis ate Lahoh too. It looks the same exact same as the Somali Lahoh too.

It got me thinking, who created the Lahoh/Canjero? Yemenis or Somalis?

There are variants of laxoox consumed all the way from India to Morroco . The same is true for Sabaayad /Kimis .
Yemenis also have a type of kimis and malawah ..these are all ancient Afro -asiatic cuisines and we will never know who invented them .the ancient probably had an influence .

Yemenis didn't create it. I'm guessing Canjeelo originated in Ethiopia/Eritrea & spread to Somaliweyn. We developed our own variation shortly afterwards.

Canjeero is a Horner meal. Ethios like Habeshas, as much as folks in this forum seem to hate their kitfo eating guts, have a variant of it called "Injera". There's no equivalent among Yemenis, as far as I've seen.
