Who bring Federalism to Somalia ( MJ or HAG ) ?

Couple of hours I thought, what if HAG didnt start killing non HAG in xamar and population still balanced and most MJ didnt went back to Puntland today.

Would MJ bring Federalism to table even they have huge presence in xamar?

To me Federalism is the most fair system today we can work in Somalia.

Referendum on independence, Dadkan ma rabaan federaal iyo awood qaybsi. You guys not reading the room, most non puntlanders don’t want this, Hawiye centralism and the permanent political sidelining of vast sections of Somali society via corrupt/token representatives is what the plan is.

If we had federalism before 91 and not a military city state dictorship where the center of everything was xamar, we wouldn't have suffered as much as we did. All somalis had their eggs in one basket and that hurt everyone when that government collapsed with the mindless interahamwe miltias not even sparing pipes.

Now if a particular community destroys a city/region, everyone won't suffer. May we never see the cursed centralism again. Amin.

That’s why today even PL politicians who’s jig is up go to xamar and switch sides easily can do it with little moral questioning, most Somalis don’t care about federalism including even some puntlanders.

Puntlander identity must become national and even transcend qabil.
