A white woman whose skin turned dark after tanning injections has claimed she's 'changed race' and will give birth to black children - leaving Holly Willoughby stunned.



Martina Big, a white model from Germany, appeared on today's This Morning claiming her doctors have told her any children she conceives with her white husband Michael will be black.

The model, who recently spent seven weeks in Kenya to learn about 'tribal culture', told Holly and her temporary co-star John Barrowman that she now identifies as a black woman after two years of melanin injections.

"My children will be black. We are not having plans, but I am discussing with my doctor to see if my body is okay, will I be able to breastfeed, what the baby will look like," she told the gob-smacked Holly and John.

"I'm trying to think genetically how that is possible," Holly pointed out. "If you give birth to a white child will you somehow think it’s not connected to you?"

"No," Martina shot back.

"It's a mix of Michael and me. I'm pretty sure it will be black or milk chocolate or a little bit light, it doesn't matter."

Viewers were left stunned by her remarks on race - especially after the model claimed her melanin injections had changed more than just the colour of her skin.

"The skin is getting darker and my growing hair is changing and getting curly and more dark," she shared.

"Even my eyebrows now are getting dark and my eye colour has changed."

When questioned why she was qualified to talk about being black, Martina argued: "A lot of Afro-Americans don't know about African culture."

This Morning fans were taken aback by Martina's claims, and rushed to slam her views on race.

"Martina Big: I admired their curves, I admired their hair, I admired their darkness. I am now a black woman and understand being black more than Afro-Americans because I went to Africa and carried water for three weeks. OK NO ABSOLUTELY NOT," one tweeted.

Another wrote: "The most racist thing I've ever seen on #ThisMorning . I'm in pain from laughing, it's so awful. That voice too, OMG! What's happening to the world? It's going crazy!"

People have been obsessed with how they look and took risks to "enhance it" for decades, I know of an Aussie girl who died of cancer because of tanning saloons which are now banned in Australia, but this German woman is claiming that her children will be born as blacks. What do you think?

I understand, we are in the age of enhancing our selfs etc, some of us but not all of us want certain traits from different ethnicities, like i wish i was in height 6,2 instead of being 6,0.But to want to take on a whole different culture and race like the two people you just posted sounds absurd to me.

By the way im going to start reading up on sexual dysfunction.

It's a global trend of Africans, Asians and Latin Americans who are desperate to look like Caucasians and we Somalis aren't exempted because we've always been obsessed with being light coloured. Ask a Somali what prettiness means to them, wuu casyahay ama weey castahay will be the first sentence. You will see a mother calling her son who looks like that German "African queen" Ali Cadde, being called Madoobe is a diss. Somali guys are now using diana cream.

To sum it up the sexual dysfunction chapter, they are saying, immediately after the injections, it works like Viagra for both genders.
