You either build something that works for you or establish a far-inferior scrappy project that will never reach any true potential and neither lives up to what it imitates. Architecture wise I believe we should be similar to Oman, they have beautiful traditional buildings and no skyscrapers, I don’t think we should set out to be like the UAE or other nations that develop lots of skyscrapers and just copy western architecture, we should also have a public transport network similar to Japan/ Netherlands. Loads of bike lanes to reduce dependence on driving everywhere keeping our populous strong and healthy. Netherlands has some of the tallest and healthiest people in the world and they have the most bikes per capita and bike lanes. Everyday going to skl/work people cycle. It’s also a burden off the healthcare system. While having a good CLEAN railway links to reduce traffic time and dependence on cars. We would even save in the long term and we’d reduce our dependence on oil we could export more to other nations. We should also have greenery and trees EVERYWHERE. Have you guys seen the Netherlands? It’s beautiful and you’re surrounded by nature even when driving because they purposely designed the roads and infrastructure to make it so. We have advanced information of mistakes other nations made when developing and what they are trying to change now. we could do so well if we just had an honourable government
