no definitive "best" for me but i can list off a few classics/recommendations.
HxH 2011, code geass, kaiji, the fate adaptations (VN is great too), NGNL, mob psycho, mushishi, psycho pass (not s3) , ping pong and one outs come to mind.

But i am right about the second season of vinland saga segmenting it as a great piece of fiction.
Also the thing is i also agree with the philosophy of “i have no enemies”/pacifism as a dumb idea in reality.

personally i thought it was a big departure from the first season. season 1 was a beautiful work of art and ended spectacularly, to go from that to thorfinn toiling on some farm with all his vitality just dissapearing turned me off, that shit was dragging on forever too
i lose interest whenever they pull out these boring arcs where nothing happens.
Gintama and great teacher onizuka. one piece is a close third though.

Mate. I don’t know how can you call it ass when it’s the best standard anime. It’s really good. You may not like it in the same manner as other animes but I do. Which is why I like it. Call it a guilty pleasure but bleach always stays on top.

Bleach is honestly deeper than people give it credit for. A lot of fun character stuff, poetry and beautiful calligraphic art as his art style grew. A lot of people, my younger self included, get it wrong by trying to compare it to Naruto and One Piece narratively. It was never trying to be that kind of typical shonen "main character strives to become the best" type story. It's just a normal dude who got thrown into all this wild spirit shit making do and trying to protect those he loves and trying to be a decent person as he does so. In a lot of ways it's also just Kubo having fun with the settings to explore ideas he has around characters, morality, life and philosophy.
It's only honest to God notable flaw for me is how he treats some of the women in the story. Can do without all the fan service, for example. Otherwise a very enjoyable series with a KILLER aesthetic. Kubo should have gone into fashion for reals.

It was the best animated series that I’ve ever watched. Ichigo is the most unique character of the show. Along with Aizen, Kisuke Urahara, Byakuya Kuchiki,Kenpachi and my favourite captain being Shunsui Kyōraku
