Where would you see Somalia today if the islamic courts Union didn’t get defeated by the USA back in 2006?

In 2006, under 7 months of Islamic Courts Union(ICU) rule. Law and order was established for the first time since 1991. Qabilism was practically banned, there was no more infighting, small moryaaan militant groups were dismantled and joined the ICU under one law, under one God, under one Sharia law. This was the first time where Somalis were United as one, the Islamic principles was finally into the heart and minds of the Somali people rather than being munafiq by killing each other through qabilism etc. In 2006, even in somaliland, in Burco, there was talks to join the ICU. ICU was expanding fully within Somalia, during their 7 month rule, they basically controlled all of southern and central Somalia, and small parts of southern puntland.

Unfortunately Ethiopia got threatened as they didn’t want Somalia to be United as one, Ethiopia already seeing the bordering towns like Caabuduwaaq of the Somali region joining ICU, and Ethiopia feared that ICU will expand deep within the Somali region to form Greater Somalia ie Somaliweyne. Ethiopia got soo scared they called their masters the USA to help arm them etc to declare war on ICU and unfortunately during the fierce war, ICU was dismantled and the extreme section of the ICU formed Al Shabaab and that was the birth place of the terror group, basically USA/Ethiopia created Al Shabaab.

Had Ethiopia didn’t call their master the USA for help, Somalia would’ve been a powerful country United as one, it would’ve been more powerful than siad barre era where even the muslim oromos would’ve been keen to join ICU thus we would’ve taken control of the main source of Shebelle river and Jubba river.

Look at this map, look how fast ICU had expanded within Somalia, in their 7 months of their rule. In two years the whole of Somaliweyne would’ve been under ICU and we would’ve been a superpower in the region but unfortunately USA/Ethiopia installed a weak federal government of Somalia, where they can’t even control their own bathroom let alone Mogadishu.

This shows, that Islam can united us Somalis as one, this demonstrates to us that following the sunnah of the prophet Muhammed PHBH and the Quran properly would cure the disease of qabilism which unfortunately this disease is in the hearts and the minds of majority of the Somali population, this disease encourages munafiq behaviour which is a major sin and a major sin that punishes us Somalis till this day.

No, obviously there was pro federal government sections which caused civil war at the end, the likes of Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed AUN, who founded puntland, ran to his masters to Ethiopia in Addis Ababa like a baby crying about ICU expanding to puntland and other regions. For your info, sheikh aweys created in PL alithaad movement that use to rule same like ICU. When we defeated them PL became modern state, Somalia becaon of peace.

Majority of the ICU members joined the newly created transitional government back in 2008, where the former leader/chairman of the ICU Sharif Sheikh Ahmed had became the president of the transitional government of Somalia until the newly created installed federal government of Somalia in 2012.

So no Al Shabaab doesn’t establish law and order but by chaos and meyhem. Those who are pro installed federal government of Somalia need to go back to who wrote the constitution of this weak federal government, the man who founded this weak installed federal government of Somalia was Meles Zenawi, this man created Al shabaab.
