I already know how to cook some somali dishes, but I've been wanting to expand my knowledge after I graduate collage. I realized I've been eating the same dishes I know. I want to learn new somali dishes. Where can I find somali cooking classes?

Online is where you can find the most material.

YouTube-There are a loooot of home cooks on there. You can learn something new from each one and make your own unique spin to it. It seems everyone and their habaryar is on there. Pick what you want to try and add Somali to the search.

Xawaash-the site and YouTube channel is a well-made one. On their site the recipes are well written, in many languages and they have sweet stories about back home to go with each recipe. I feel like the husband and wife duo might have been one of the first if not the first Somalis to teach cooking online.

The lady whose channel I’m linking below gives encouragement for people to try their best with what they have on hand. Positive lady indeed maa shaa Allah.
