So it’s fair to say that we will in the future get rid of these Qabiil battles we have and rise up-I hope. But is it going to be ten years, a hundred years or a thousand years??

I would love the Somali regions to prosper ,and hopefully under one flag, but that can’t be achieved when external countries are smart enough to pit us against each other. Every country that meddles in ours wants us to fall (not sure about Turkeys motives though)

I think it’s safe to say this generation in control now won’t do anything major, but minor developments aren’t bad.

There are examples of countries who had the same situation we have in history yet we can’t seem to learn from them?? I am not in a position to do anything but IA we never see a downfall and keep progressing

I guess the question is what can be done and when do you think Somalia will be a country worth raising your future kids in?

On a side not don’t derail this thread talking about who’s to blame and “my tuulo your tuulo” blah blah blah

Well I can say that now, is the best time relative to the last 30 years.
The country only requires a stable security framework, and us people paying our taxes.
The 80's, 90's and soon 00's generations will be of prime age to fix, develop and prosper.

External countries can only ever play the qabiil card, but as I hope you have seen nowadays Somali's have matured and it will become next to impossible for our enemies to ever instigate a clan conflict. Remember sxb dhaqanka Somaliyeed is to never fear the foreigner and their meddling, they will come, they will see, they will go (in coffins)

Turkey is a special case, we share 700 years of diplomatic, economic and military cooperation, a real Muslim bond that was broken for 90 years, but was restored under the Presidency of Sheikh Shariif. It's truly interesting witnessing the trajectory Turkey is heading, as they aim to Undo the damages of the 20th century.and we shall piggyback gloriously kkkkk

To answer, when Somalia will be the country worth raising kids in, I'm glad to break the news to ya, Ardul Somaal Waasac, I have family who left the West to live and raise kids in Berbera, Borama, Bossaso, and Xamar,

I agree I wholeheartedly believe in the 80’s 90’s and 00’s.

I also believe we could surpass most African nations as most of them,despite being completely at ease, haven’t been able to become a developing nation.

This era of the middle 20th century to the early 21st century will go down in Somali history as the dark ages

Whenever the smart ppl from the diaspora decide they want to have a country and move back. I don't expect anything good to come out of Somalia until someone builds businesses there generating a larger gdp and allowing money to be spent on infrastructure and a world class education system needs to be established asap if we are to eradicate the qabil mentality within the next 50 yrs. Until ppl decide they wanna invest in their country like all other races do then we will never prosper. How many millionaires do we have and not one of them has built a world class university with accepted diplomas yet. The government is to poor to afford a military that can destroy al shabaab, so the south is pretty much hopeless for now.

Clannism still exist within the young generation. 15 years aged kids talking about qabiil.

Surely the coming 100-500 years Somalis will still suffer from qabyaalad. Perhaps Somalia as country wont even exist by the year 2050
