Isn't Erin Pizzey the one who used to contribute a lot to the feminist movement...but then got scorned when some ungrateful feminazis turned on her for suggesting shelters for male victims or something?? I think I've heard her on the Honey Badger podcast before; not sure tho.
Personally, I'm always gonna be on the side on the victim (regardless if they are male or female), so if this law will help prevent victims of domestic violence from being further endangered...I'm for it. It comes down to cost/benefits tbh. 48 hrs isn't rly 'being homeless', and if it could potentially save someone's life-- it's a reasonable sacrifice; worth the cost.
Does this law specifically say only suspected male perpetrators?? If so, I'd disagree with that part; the book should equally be thrown at females who are suspected of abusing their partners as well.
