in the 17th century, the King of Morocco, Moulay Ismail, ordered that all black people, Muslim or not, free or not, to be captured and enslaved. Some became apart of his slave army called the Black Guards, also known as Abid Al-Bukhari, because he was obsessed with Bukhari.

That's wrong too and I know all about the Barbary Slave Trade but he explicitly called for all Blacks that were in Morocco to be enslaved. I know his mom was black.

I read some sources, apparently he indeed did enslaved free black population, he sought fatwas from sheikhs, of course with threats, many approve, but some did not, these where killed and their houses, property and lands where sold off.

The king came with an excuse where he said that, the enslavement was voluntarily, and he didn't force any free person to be enslaved and enlisted.
