TBH Somalia as a whole is boring and it's even more boring for girls. The best thing to do is have road trips to the rural area and enjoy the landscape.

Guusha ya leh?
Get out to see Berbera and coastal areas if you can! There are tour guide companies where you can hire locals who will escort you sightseeing.

Concerts, aroosyo(Hargeisa aroosyo are usually lit), hang out with other diaspora kids at that famous coffe place in Hargeisa, Hiddow dhowr, road trips to Berbera/Laas geel or to the west and to Borama.

But most important, what about shopping in Hargeisa?
Are there even "western"ish clothing shops or are they mostly for diraqs etc? just curious..

And shopping in Djibouti?

This is my plan next time there inshalah:

Spend few days at berbera

Visit borama

Visit abaarso tech for a tour and to thank Jonathan.

Take my cousins and a goat and supplies of qusaar and kitchenware and have a outdoors cooking, listening to music and stories under a tree outside the outskirts of the city.

Play basketball with the locals at timacade

Climb chick breasts mountain

Eat hilib geel at golis

Couple days take the local bus just to experience the hilarious conversations

Spend time with the relatives.

Appreciate what you take for granted. Come back with a purpose

Exactly.
Im planning to buying a lot of stuff for children here and taking m with me and taking my old playstations etc

But im not sure yet if its handy, maybe there are cheaper children toys in somalia than here..

Djibouti has nice clubs if you like to party.

Hargeisa is quite boring the only thing to do is eat at restaurants lol.. but nice views in borama and the rest of SL is barren land and poverty stricken.

Are the parties "normal/halal" or is it just like clubbing in the west?
