My profile picture, the symbol of my account, the identifying marker. I'd say it is 50% of someones online persona. My profile picture features 3 important characters.

He is the character analyzed in the video, he.. is a very complex character. Basically, he runs the Pegorino Crime Family which different from the other families is based in alderney, real life new jersey and newark area... This guy wants to be on the commission very badly but the new york city families see him insignificant and dont view him seriously. He is the main mafia person that sends out jobs. He is so delusional that he kills romans future relationship partner and this is the point where Nico seeks true revenge in both endings. This guy was so arrogant, he wasent secretive at all, hes so dumb the cops didnt even bother messing with him too much. Ending off every text message with -the boss ... hes an idiot. I really recommend EVERYONE to watch this video on why NO one likes pegorino. However, if you arent familiar with the GTA 4 story. you should also watch the professionals 40 episode or so story, you only need to watch the main story to understand. wlhi its better then movies for me.

Head of the Gambetti Crime Family, he is very old and he sadly dies in the story. Hes on the commission, where the major mafia leaders in NYC discuss important issues. He asks Nico to do some favors for him while hes on the deathbed.

This guy is a made man, a captain also known as a caporegime or capo. He works for pegorino. This guy plays an important role, his goals are self centered and disregards others. He sends nico on several favors too. Being fully honest, Ray is the guy who really runs the backbone of the pegorino family. sending out missions in algonquin (manhatten) to fight other gangs such as the anchelottis... In the Lost and Damned' dlc he also plays a big role in the diamond thing which happens in all three stories, this diamond deal is probably the biggest climax of the story tbh it sets all the later conflicts up. but yeah theres too much to explain about this important character. He dies in the end, the absolute idiot pegorino killed him off because he 'snitched,' without any foolproof evidence. Sure, ray might be a scumbag but the main rule in the italian mafia is to not kill your own made men, even associates arent to be killed without valid reason. These types of actions are why he isnt respected by the rest of the families at all. Funny though because pegorino also dies by nico, Nico kills ray, Nico also kills Pegorino..

Now that I have explained the characters I can explain the context:
This video was a video created by the professional, a very very good youtuber who researches GTA and also recently branched out into other games. His lore videos are top-notch, even if you dont like games or GTA. I recommend you watch the GTA 4 full walkthrough created by the professional. Then you must watch all gta 4 lore videos.

Why did I chose this profile picture as my main picture?
This is because I really enjoy GTA 4, and the professional videos aswell. The GTA 4 story is extremely complex. You have a yugoslav war veteren (serbian i believe) who immigrates to new York city on smuggling boat. (The boat has the cursed diamond aswell) meets up with roman, and begins a merc for hire business. He works with everyone, the russians, Italians, Irish, Jamaicans, African American, Cubans, Latino Dudes, Everyone man this game is so diverse and its in a good way, not in a woke lala stupid way. This game achieved such a complex story and keep in mind this game was launched 2008!!! I cannot believe a game can be this good, Rockstar Games, if you are reading this PLEASE remaster this work of art. My posting RIGHT here is a example of the quality of this game, only using 1 aspect of the game (The alderney situation) which is A SUMMARY I was able to write a tremendous amount of stuff for this game which is insane. Also I need to give some credit to the youtuber who created this, TheProfessional. Gta 4 is also his favorite game, hes created many lore videos and not only for this. Every single GTA game basically, Vice City, Chinatown, the Stories. Even Bully was played through on his channel WITH lore videos included. I cannot recommend this guy more then enough.

GTA games are violent games that shouldnt be promoted
You are absolutely wrong in many different aspects, firstly let me link this video which can give you an advanced explanation along with some GTA 4 lore.
Now GTA games are not meant to promote violence, in fact it is too show the dangerous life of crime. Purely documental, No rational person is going to be playing GTA games to practice crimes to go do them out in real life. Absolutely insane. These actually prevent violent crime, releasing the crazy urge in GTA like running over peds. and robbing gas stations. However, civilians are not even harmed in GTA games unless you chose to do that. And also children arent even in gta nor are they advised to play it. (I have played some GTA as a kid NGL) but its crazy to make this assumption. Most people who play GTA go on to become productive members of society. Like me :D
These few cases are mentally ill who actually get inspired in theses games, severe issues in the head. No rational person which is most of us would get 'inspired' by a game like this.

My Final Note:
I hope you guys enjoyed this posting, I spent around 2 hours writing this delicate master piece. I decided to share it on this forum. In fact, I dont think this should only be on my status page. I will be also posting this into the general channel. I havent posted it yet so lets see what the reactions will be. GTA 4 has the best story I have ever seen and mostly has no flaws. Feel free to share your opinions, critizms and stuff like that in the replies. Thanks
