Yes because allah says "kulu nafsin daaikhatul mawt" meaning every soul shall taste death. hence its just. also theres verse that goes "inaa lilaahi waa inaa ilayhi raajicuun" to god we belong and to him we shall return. same meaning we are his creation and when the times up the return is xaq, kinda obligatory, just and due thing. like IOU. when its envitable your not wronged hence xaq.

Ur right. Xaq doesn't equal right in this context. It's like u said, it means it is a must/inevitable.
