Somalia/somalis are at breaking point. Currently the population is almost 17 million in Somalia and will double in 20 years time. The land can't carry that much without an efficient government rehabiliating the environment and boosting food production. The problem somalis have is our xoolo dhaqato. We have too many of them. Its not their fault at all. They need to look for new pastures.

What needs to be done is sent these nomads to Kenya and Ethiopia to induce demographic change in favour of somalis already living there. Somalis need to penetrate the heartlands of Kiinya and Itoobiya. The regions of Hararghe, Bale and Arsi need to be populated by maryooleys. Likewise in Kenya, the settlement of somalis need to follow the Kenyas rainfall map. The coast is for the taking. Somalis there need to buuy land etc and settle.

Other thing somalis need to do is spread their culture and assimilate the other ethnic groups. Already in Ethiopia and Kenya there is many groups who were originally somali but assimilated to other groups. We can tap into this. For far too long have somalis acted uppity about assimilation but now is the time. In Horn of Africa, you must be at the table or you will be left behind. Oromos were relatively small group until they conquered and assimilated the lush ethiopian heartlands. We need to replicate this. Rendille, Gabra, Sakuye, oromos in Kenya must come under somali umbrella. In Ethiopia, everybody, yes everybody. The damn tigrayans, nilotes and habeshas. Everybody is somali. We all same same. To hell with this purity bullshit some peddle.

I don't seek conflict with others but co-existence, I just want my ppl in PL to be rich, educated, and have a homeland to be proud of. That's my only agenda, as for other societies I wish the best for them and if they are progressing, i'd love us to work together towards mutual progress. New generation Africans are tired of conflict, we are shamed world wide because of how our continent looks.
