I know it's unlikely but would you welcome a somali prime minister or president of Ethiopia? We have millions of our people in Ethiopia and Kenya. If a somali ethiopian or kenyan citizen became leader or important poltician of these countries this could benefit Somalia. Probably it's more likely to happen in Ethiopia , but Kenya also has a class of educated somali sujuis who could easily aspire to key ministries and leaderships. We need to be involved in their governements, a bunch of loyal somalis in Ethiopian and Kenyan governments would be bring numerous advantages to our nation:banderas:

After all somalis are like 6% of ethiopian population while tigrays are also 6% and ruled ethiopia for 30 years. Somalis should be more involved.
Ahmed Shiide is the ethiopian finance minister and he is somali, that's an important position. We need nore people like that

If you are waiting for a Somali to rise to a big govt position in Kenya/Ethiopia and then help Somalia you will be disappointed because the reality of what is happening now says otherwise.

There has been many Somalis holding big influencial govt positions in these countries and I can tell you for a fact those Somalis leaders only served to help their own somali qabiils in Ethiopia/Kenya. They did not help Somalia as a country in any significant way.

Take Kenya as an example. In the last few years there has been a Somali minister of defence, Inspector General of Police, minister of foreign affairs. There has also been a Somali Leader of Majority in the Kenyan parliament, this is one of the most influential political positions in any country.

How did all these people help Somalia as a country. Your guess is as good as mine. They only served to help their clans. Don't expect these people to hold government positions in Ethiopia or Kenya and help Somalia as a country. They will only benefit their own people in Galbeed and NFD.

Somali leaders in Kenya have ensured the Somali image in Kenya have improved.
This inturn has encourage somalis from Somalia to ivest in Kenya.

That is the main goal. What happens in Villa Somalia is non of their concern because its not Kenyans ruling villa Somalia but rather Somalis who have been onfected by qabyalad and corruption.

Kenya possible. Ethiopia highly unlikely.

Funnily enough as of late Somalis seem to have more influencial positions in the Ethiopian government, with the Speaker of Parliament being Somali as well as the Finance Minister of Ethiopia being Somali as well.

Ethiopia only recently started improving baby steps 1. they stopped meddling in Somalia 2. they got rid of the oppressive paramiliraty loyal to tplf, 3. more inclusion in the federal government, yet still a long way to go, Somalis need to unite in Kenya and Ethiopia and stop playing clan politics in non-Somali country.

Keep dreaming.
Somalia has never had a somali leader all of them were reer hebel representatives.

I think we have many qualified men and women who are perfectly capable of leading, we just have to trust and give them a chance :)

When Mx are dealing traitoriously with Ethiopia means they stopped meddling somaaha?
What is Liiyu Polis being sent to Bakool to oversea elections?

The Somali leader would must definitely be one that’s handpicked. Basically he’d be a puppet for Kenya or Ethiopia. I love the wishful thinking but reality is a bitter truth unfortunately :mjcry:
