The president needs to expand his control and slowly detach the country from the influence of Ethiopia, the biggest meddler in our affairs.
He needs to establish control over the states of GM, HS and KG. The two first states should be easy as he has loyal supporters from these areas. Al-shabaab must be exterminated and local political elite not subserviant to him kicked out and replaced. They must be Al-shabaab free in less then 2 years.
KG will difficult but worthy. Using Roobow to wipe away Laftagareen, the ethiopian installed puppet should be a good move. Alternatively, HSM could bribe Laftagareen away from ethiopians but this is a long shot. Either way, the president needs to appease the D&M clan group to make them his allies. Koonfur galbeed needs to be under his control, the agriculturally important state is a huge asset. Also what needs to happen is the eradication of Al-shabaab but this can only accomplished when the states capacity is stronger.
By control, I don’t mean being a dictator but more akin to a normal country where regional ”presidents” don’t make security deals with openly hostile states.
As for Jubbaland and Puntland, they will work with Hsm after other states fall in line.
Farmaajo tried to do this but he was retarted and was working close with the ethiopians. He did not eradicate Al-shabaab or did any tangible improvements in Somalia. The country is in the same shape as he first started. Truly wasted oppirtunity. He could have so much better.
