I remember hearing , just a few days ago, that Mogadishus main clan would blow everything up and ttake over villa Somalia.

Instead all we've seen is small protests, fake videos of protests, opposition claiming attacks by Alshabab are due to Farmaajo and a conference without the largest part of Hawiye.

Seems as if nothing has happened and Farmaajo is just focusing on calming IC.

The opposition is working on how to remove the former president from Villa Somalia and it is working.
Farmajo is losing his support base in Xamar and even his military is fragmented.

Its kust a matter of few months before he sees light and leaves with his dignity intact.

Farmajo Rebels Prepare New offensive In Mogadishu

Abdirahman Abdishakuur said the Farmajo rebels were willing to negotiate with the Ethiopia and Eritrean governments to spare further conflict in order to maintain 2 year extension endorsed by Farmajo and the lower house . “We do not want to start civil-war in Mogadishu, we will choose an independent Electoral Election committee which would be acceptable by all Somali Stakeholders and Somali people to facilitate credible elections. We want them to leave their positions without a fight. We do not want to hurt local Mogadishu civilians.”
