Until finances are strong I don't know if anything hefty will be brought however I can see equipment like drones being purchased. Drones are generally cheaper to acquire and operate than manned aircraft, making them a cost-effective solution for certain military operations.
Drones alone can changed the dynamics of combat, surveillance drones to track terrorists and combat ones to hit them when they're at a base. Air superiority is vital and if the government can get a hold of that then it'll be good.
