This is a conversation about Potential so no derailing about your depression on Modern Somalia and its Problems when we are talking about its Maximum Potential.

If were talking max potenial then we gotta start with some basic facts

1) combined pouplation of those areas are like 45 million in 2025. Also the pouplation is likley to double by 2050 going by current somali birth rates. So a pouplation of like 80-90 million in 2050

2) current gdp of somalia is likley 4-5 times the 15 billion in official statics so like $70 billion dollars

3) potentially one of the largest oil reserves in the world.

4) a spaceport in the works which if we turned into a special economic zone could lead to massive aerospace and other scientific and technical industries to be located here since foreign companies would bring their operations into that SEZ


So if we combine all these and assume maxium potential. Then we could be looking at a somalia that in 2050 is 80 million + strong with a 1-1.5 trillion dollar economy and a large pool of scientific and engineering talent that was taught by all the scientist and engineers who came to somalia to be around the spaceport special economic zone.
