What do you think about the metaverse?

Is it hyped? The kids are already involved with the metaverses in Fortnite and Roblox and when they grow up they might transform the social media landscape. But i think it will be a long time for VR headsets to replace the computer for social media. But the future is unknown. If smart people in silicon valley believe in the metaverse then i guess it will be a success.

VR is not there yet, it's pretty much just hype now but tech moves fast so we might get there in the coming years and, I hate to admit it but FB could really make it work in the long run assuming they avoid getting caught up in more controversies.
