We aren't far of from 2100 around 77 years time I would be more over 90 years old very small chance of seeing how life will be like than (would love to) but what do you think will happen? I'm optimistic for Somalia that's if we continue to improve our country and continue with the baby steps without going the wrong direction but I'm losing hope for Somalis in the west. Not many can speak Somali or know about their culture. Its looking doom and gloom in the west.

I don't think they will breed out by 2050 that's like in under 30 years time we will definately still be around but this time Somali children will be bought up by westernised parents. I think assimilation will occur well at least overhear in the uk but not in full affect. I think by 2100 there will be more half somalis than full who will go on to produce quarter Somalis. Somalia could be 50/50 bantu and ethnic Somalis by 2100 if I'm truthfully honest.

Pakistanis and Bangladeshis have been in the UK since the 40s. I have friends whose grandfathers came to the UK and they’re still Asian and Muslim and still adhering to their cultures, even aspects of it that are better dropped tbh.

We don’t know what the next ten years or twenty or thirty holds. Somalis might start migrating again.
