Guys we need to abolish negative clan politics rather than tolerate it. Somalia should employ at the national level a purely parliamentary system of government whereby

1. The President, as Head of State, is always Rahanweyn
2. The Prime Minister is either Hawiye or Darod

Somalia should switch to a constitutional monarchy in which each qabiils royalty gets one year as head of state.

But ban 4.5 and force each FMS to “de-qabiilise” and introduce jail terms for those that mention qabiil.

The only times qabiil can be mentioned is at a biannual meeting held by the qabiil royalty.

4.5 is poor execution but I favor the concept of clans having guaranteed agreed upon representation.

What to replace Clan politics with then?

Since colonialism forced integration of clans into we seen different ideologies come and go but all wanted abolishing clan as identity and in politics yet only clan can rally entire populations, started Nation building and currently destroying it too. Only I.D system, credit check or provide real insurance is Clan.I say Institutionalize clans instead if used correctly we benefit much more than any ideology out there!

Also beware those against clans all had evil ulterior like Kacaan, Shabab, Gaalo NGOs list is long as history has proven
