Many of these murtads did experience traumatic life experiences from family and relatives claiming to be practicing Muslims. This in turn caused them to develop extreme animosity towards Islam and Muslims. Their anger is valid, but where it is directed is wrong. They’ve decided that Islam is not right faith for them. But been accused by their community for not being Somali enough in not believing in the faith.
I do agree some of them have traumatic experiences which lead them to insult the religion (even though is better to debate about Islam in 21st century rather than degrading it).

Also: something I’ve realised about ex Somali Muslims is that they are more patriotic than Ana Arab Somalis who degraded their native cultures and booty clap anything that’s Arab related.

Thinking I’d draw Islam closer to them. Kkkk

To each their own, if they want to leave the deen and live their life according to their own rules. More power to them, what I have an issue with is them insulting our religion on a daily basis. By doing this they believe that they would be accepted by the masses, if they too show their disdain for Islam. You’ll never see ex Christian’s, Hindus or Jews do this. It’s pathetic and down right sad if you ask me.
