Eh, that conflict has a lot of history and is very complex...there is no sole "bad guy" or "good guy"; both nations have done atrocious things and I support neither tbh. Ideally though, I think a two state solution is best for the sake of the innocent civilians-- on both sides.

I agree. But can you not see how it's hard to make peace with people whose founding charter says that "every tree will tell the Muslims there's a Jew behind me, come kill him"? It's a bit problematic if that's how you start things off. I also am aware of the Jews needing a place to live after WW2 and you can argue they should've went elsewhere etc. I just think their presence in the ME is a plus for the ME and the world.

There are cultures that are problematic and some humans are more evolved than others. I don't know if that's what you're referring to, but there are no group of people with physical features that are objectively good. I prefer isreal, I don't believe in concepts of good and bad. I think that they are draconian views that limit humans view of the world and that we all are inherently bad regardless as much as liberalism says we are good. Therefore in this world all that matters is the Victor and it is clear that the isrealis have so far been superior to their arab counterparts. Yea, they are on guard and have their fingers hovering over the offensive mode-- sadly, their unfortunate circumstance has fostered too much distrust between them. Even on a civilian level, there is lots of hatred and fear being propagated...
Hamas uses Holy scriptures and scapegoating to incite division in Palestine while Israeli gov exploits history of Jewish persecution and the Hamas boogeyman in order to justify their crimes against humanity (muh "preeminent self-defense").
Anyways, imo, the only way to peace is one side has to have the courage to give the other the benefit of the doubt...and civilians must come together to meet mutual interests; F the politics, F the corrupt/selfish government, and F religious differences.
As for Israel being a positive in the ME...they are super chummy with Saudi and take so much aid from the US, so I'm gonna have to disagree on that.
