I'm kind of split. I grew up hating Israel for what they were doing to the poor Muslims but now I'm starting to be neutral on the matter (I hate Hamas).

Keep in mind the religion angle to all of this. Hamas has in it's charter the Quran verse about how every tree will scream "there's a Jew behind me, come kill him". The verses about how Allah turns Jews into apes and the other Islamic nonsense is also deeply ingrained. It was ingrained in me for a while, too.

It is partially a religious struggle. Yes, there are Christian Palestinians but Wahhabi Hamas and their supporters are not fond of a democracy where Christians and Muslims have equal rights. Eh, that conflict has a lot of history and is very complex...there is no sole "bad guy" or "good guy"; both nations have done atrocious things and I support neither tbh. Ideally though, I think a two state solution is best for the sake of the innocent civilians-- on both sides.
