What do you do about salat fajr and sleep rhythm?

Many people wake up, pray and go back to sleep, and that ruins your sleep rhythm/circadian rhythm, and contributes to insomnia.

Arabs seem to have had the same routine Somalis mostly still keep back home at least from what I saw in Puntland. They would wake up just before or by sunrise (Fajr) and then sleep not long after dark (after Isha). Back home they start work by like 8 AM but are normally up and about by 6 or before, then they work until 12 PM (Dhuhr) where they take a break and often sleep until Asr (3-4PM ish) only to go back to work until around Isha where that's the end of the day. So it was honestly never intended for folks to sleep after praying Fajr. Something modern Muslims working in western routines ought to consider.

You sleep early and don't go back to sleep. i cannot sleep during the day so that's what I do.
I aim or 7 hours of a sleep a night.

Very easy to sleep early (after isha) and wake up early (in time for fajr) in Somalia.
I always hit the bed by 11 pm and wake up around 5/6 am. That's still a good 7 or 8 hours of sleep. However, in the west I can never sleep earlier than 12:30 am. it pisses me right off.

The best is to sleep after cishe and then wake up for fajr and stay up, but if you get in to the routine of waking up for fajr and then sleeping again, then there is no problem.

It’s actually improper to sleep after fajr, you should start preparing for your day the next sleep time is after dhur

U should sleep a portion of the night, and stay up for a bit of it, only time u should sleep after fajr is a nap before dhuhr, this should be enough sleep
for us western Muslims this is basically impossible though, with work and also the lights that come from devices and indoor lights and outside, it messes up our circadian rhythm and ruins out sleep even more, not to mention the constantly changing prayer times we constantly have to switch sleep schedules.
In an idelaistic way the deens way of praying doesn't actualy contradict normal human sleep behaviour
but due to modern conditions, and some illnesses like insomnia(which I have) It can ruin ur sleep even more, I guess that is just the test of our time, different ppl have different situations, some ppl take sleeping pills cos they can't go sleep all night then miss fajr etc.
All in all our sleep schedules need to be looked at and we need to see the root cause for problems like insomnia etc, but for the general human masses, who should live in a natural way, fajr should not interfere with regular life patterns

Fajr and Ramadan were the bane of my existence back in the days. Like mentioned on here the prayer times did not take into account the workings of the modern conditions.

Sleep earlier in the night. Don’t go back to sleep and just start your day. This isn’t always practical of course.
