I think so too, the money donated by the IC is aid to Somalia, and should be shared equally across and within FMS.

The only place where it clearly isn't, is JL, Gedo gets zilch zero nada.

What are you talking about brother, the IC donations have nothing to do with taxes it is aid given to the failed state of Somalia, Gedo is currently not getting its share of the begging bowl. If you interested in taxes, Gedo isn't getting anything from the illegal charcoal business your uncle Madoobe runs.

The Taxes belong to Jubaland state not to your Mooryaan backward village. Submit Bay’ah to Madoobe otherwise you are not getting a single penny.

So far, two good reasons for reer Gedo to oppose JL:
a) Desire Gedo to be a Federal state on its own right, even though it does not meet the criteria.
b) Receive its share of resources from the IC.

Surely those are not the only ones. Or this issue would have been put to bed many moons ago. What other reasons are there?

Gedo should get its share just like the rest of the country, this is not political issue.

You guys like to call Gedo Gaajo, and claim its self inflicted, but really it has an administration that is self funded and is experiencing same level of poverty as the rest of the country, if these funds were released Gedo would catapult above the rest of Somalia.

So, reer Gedo oppose JL 'cos:
a) Desire Gedo to be a Federal state on its own right, even though it does not meet the FMS criteria. This is a more challenging legal as well as political quandary requiring intelligent leadership.
b) Receive its share of resources from the IC. A Madoole could easily resolve this.
