What character in media that you like that everyone hates

Sorry, I love Nightcrawler. I love how he’s a religious, but not condescending or preachy. One of the best Catholic fictional characters . Christian media should write their characters like Nightcrawler. All of his episodes in the 90s cartoon are some of the best written & emotional stories in the whole series!!!!

Cyclops is another X-men that everyone shits on that I like. Although, I use to dislike him when I was younger, mainly because of how I felt that he got over Jean too quickly after she died at the Phoenix Saga, how he dumped Madilyn after they found out Jean was alive, his psychic affair with Emma Frost & I thought he was a basic.

But I now realize that he’s only basic on the surface level in terms of personality and powers. His childhood was really messed up with him losing both of his parents to the Shi’ar and can’t control his powers . Also, he’s actually really strong. I remember when he had to vibe check Wolverine a couple of times and he goes all out against Mr. Sinister

Also, Tobirama from Naruto DID NOTHING WRONG . Fight me!!! He was the best candidate for the Hokage position. Madara would of been a tyrant if he was chosen instead. Plus, his diplomatic skills would be terrible because his ability to connect/understand/trust people. Madara is a narcissist who’s own clan disowned him.

I loved how absolutely ruthless this guy was.
The actor did such a good job of portraying the character that people started to hate him irl.

What do you mean DID NOTHING WRONG. the guy literally ostracized a whole clan which directly lead to their deep hatred for the village, which intern lead to their genocide at the hands of the village. The guy was racist to the core and a piece of shit. Karma got Madara in the sense that he was manipulated just like he was manipulating others.

am gonna go with madara & obito. their goal of putting the whole world under an illusion was noble imho. I'd take a blissful illusion over reality any day. But the way they went about it was nasty :susp:

Now that I think about it Skyler White from Breaking Bad was quite reasonable in her actions. Her husband became a manipulative drug dealer and she wanted to leave him . What more is there to it? In real life that’s caadi.

I like Tywin since he comes off as the only character that I believe who is a remotely effective leader in Westeros since everyone else seems to have a major flaw that makes them incompetent, like Ned with his total adherence to his honor, Stannis too unbending, Robert with his hedonism, Robb with his political ineptitude, etc. He's cold because he needs to be; He isn't blinded by social norms or his will, he does what he knows is necessary in order to achieve his goals and if they are viewed as dishonorable, such as retreating, blatantly disobeying orders from King's Landing, teaching Tyrion a cruel lesson so he doesn't become overly trusting of others or their intentions, or setting the Riverlands aflame in order to cripple his enemies then so be it. Honor means nothing without victory, something Ned learned the hard way

Great character but he isn’t “hated” by everyone.

Skyler White gets hate for the same reason that Carmella Soprano does. They're not exactly willing participants in their spouse's criminal enterprise but they don't do the right thing and walk away either. Also she wasn't exactly being "reasonable" when she fucked her boss, the dumb cliché cadaan sharmuta:susp:

What could she have done realistically? Leave ? Lol her husband is quite literally a evil psychopathic murderer . You have to remember very shortly into the show he had already killed Crazy 8 . But all that aside her ability to not walk away had to do with her being a woman and just by being weak in general. She fucked her boss after she wanted nothing to do with her husband. I think most people were caught up in wanting Walter white to win that they couldn’t even see what evil manipulative bastard he actually was. Being mad about Skyler cheating is like being mad that Jeffrey Dahmers wife was out cheating while Jeffrey was on his lil killing sprees lol (hypothetically speaking of course idk if he actually had a wife or not) .

People see house Lannister as villain and the starks as the good side but no one actually hates tywin the only criticism he gets is for treating teryion the way he did because that was his only glaring flaw and its what got him killed. Giving respect to teryion and working with him would have made the Lannisters come out on top.

Cersi and joffery on the other hand get a lot of hate
