Somalia’s sickness is in its bones. The people are uneducated, we have famines, poverty is rife. Which are all bad by themselves and can be fixed by a good leader, but the biggest issues of them all is the culture and society in somalia.

the people are content. They don’t care. As long as they eat their next meal, they don’t care what happens tomorrow. There is no collective consciousness. Everyone’s worried about themselves and the present.

The government could be as corrupt as possible, there will be no rebellion, no movements, no struggles. They either are completely oblivious or simply do not care.

The politics have been terrible yes but the country is more than just politicians hiding in a bunker in Mogadishu. AS has no appeal to almost any clan and lost their strength over a decade ago. That is why I'm not full doompilled yet over the country in general
