The One I know is that if your shoes land on each other that means you will be traveling
Post any superstition you heard from your parents or you know

Throwing the Quran will make you into a rat. I still haven't tried that one and I never will have the guts to do it.

The jinn roam at night and smack people into retardation.

Drinking water at night with no lights will make you drink with the devil.

Eating in the bathroom will make you eat with the devil.

Not saying masha allah will make a person turn ugly.

The night I converted I literally thought I would be struck down by lightning by Allah and sent straight to hell. Only thing keeping me from fainting was the person who was converting me. :jcoleno:

If your right palm itches you'll meet someone new and if you left palm itches you'll get money.

If the palm of your feet itch you will go somewhere i.e a journey.

If you step over didiin (tortoise) and you wet the bed you wont wet the bed anymore.

Never to step over someone (cant remember what happens if you do though).

Cutting your nails in your room is bad luck.

Shaydan takes shade under long nails.

Oh rain in general especially on your birthday is a symbol of barwaaqo. Think this originated due to the drought.

We descended from maandeeq, a she camel that was tended by the carab forefathers who are the namesake of our qabils today.
What the hell :what::what:
Is this legit? I've never heard of this.
We are descended from a camel that belonged to some Arabs :russ:
That is hilariously sad.

Recent/modern Somali superstitions tend to revolve around topics of ethnicity:

"Somalis are arab!"

"Somalis are mulatto hybrids of ayraabs and Madow"

"Somalis are of Caucasian stock who are drenched in chocolate!(yum)"

"Wez black"
