Imagine this we manage to unite Existing Somali national army + Jubaland army + Somaliland army + Puntland army + all other existing Somali factions under one nationalistic umbrella with one voice and command. I guarantee you militarily we will become an east African superpower overnight without a doubt at all. Everything else economic recovery, social developments etc will gradually follow once we secure our borders and sovereignity. This is the single most crucial thing i believe we need to get right. We need to bring back national pride, the divide and rule tactic has worked soo well in Somalia, it's almost a science on how to bring down a nation to it's knees and keep it there.
Even a country like South Sudan manages to keep sovereignty of of their land however shit they might be in, they dont have countless countries invading it in the pretext of maintaining stability.
Today it enrages me and breaks my heart that a Somali state ( Jubaland ) is the center of cold wars between 2 extremely poor African countries.The federal government using Ethiopian forces to put pressure on Madobe led Jubaland is just as bad as Madobe using Kenyan forces to stay in power.Its honestly a shit state of affairs to be in whichever angle you decide to look at it. It shows the total collapse of Somali internal unity. In all this chaos the whole official agenda this 2 foreign countries invaded Somalia under which was to fight Al shabab has been forgotten , they're now ACTIVELY meddling in Somali internal affairs with 1 ( Kenya) directly going against the Federal government of Somalia.Are we really that inferior in intelligence to understand the extent of this violation of sovereignty?
We are extremely intelligent people, we can prosper if we only manage to create a system where the intelligent amongst us are at the forefront of national building and reinvention. Clan elders know nothing about national governance, foreign affairs etc Yah they're good for settling local conflicts but putting them inhigh positions of power will only yield a culture of mediocrity and failure. Every educated Somali has a small role to [play today in the reinvention of this country. Stop hating each other at the comfort of your sofas along stupid qabyalad and engage in changing minds and ideologies of our people. It will never matter how your own little state is expanding militarily and can threaten the next little state which is no offence absolute stupidity. As long as our national government is weak , we'll always be a degraded people in the world. Step out of Somalia and you're rightfully just another Somali. Love one another. Deep down we all hurt when a Somali is mistreated anywhere in this world. A calamity that befalls a Somali in Hargeysa is hurtful to every Somali no matter where they are. Any Somali who enjoys the suffering of a fellow Somali is no Somali at all.
Lastly the only place you'll ever feel free is your own land, no other place will ever bring that precious feeling of freedom. If your house is in order nobody can look down upon you. Heybad waxaad ku leedahay dhulkaaga hooyo.
