How do you think federal democracies pays for road, border security, immigration, the military, benefits etc. people / states pay taxes to the federal government and therefore that money is redistributed within the country. The reason why it’s taking this long for relevant parties to implement all necessary measures for a federal system to be put in place. Is due to mistrust, we need to move on from this stagnated position we have been in for over 30 years. Otherwise we will still be in this position for the next 30 years.
