I have been feeling rather nostalgic since George Michael died. So I'll post a few of his songs for people that do not know the great music this man produced. Fk me, he was an entertainer.
In the late 90s, my parents had a radio installed in their headboard. I used to jump around on their bed to whatever music came on and that's when I first heard Wham's The Edge of Heaven. Hooyo used to say "uff, dimi ninka khaniska" but I never understood what that meant. That's my first memory of this man. Such innocent fools we are. But in the end, he left with an impact and that's what it is all about. He told a generation there were nothing wrong with their sexuality, that it didn't make them any less man.
