We have enough educated people here in the west so whats the next step?

We have enough educated Somalis in the west numbering the thousands. So what can we do to fill up those roles back home? How can some uneducated somali be an mp? I know the 4.5 system but even with the 4.5 system almost all educated Somalis should be able to get into positions that they are competent enough for. I am not done with whatever I am doing, planning on finishing a software engineering degree in 2026. I am an habar gidir cayr. Also I am planning on seeking Islamic knowledge in Madinah university. I believe at the age of 40 that I will be more competent and educated than 99% of people. So I wonder what should I do, and others in the diaspora who are already over qualified do to make our godforsaken better. I know this question is asked multiple times a month but something must be done. I am planning on benefitting from the 4.5 system. If you qualified and you can benefit you should too, cause people less qualified than you would benefit either way, so why not take their place?

Also by qualifications I dont just mean having a secular education, a person need to be well educated when it comes to Islam. Cant have people pushing lgbt and anti islamic values.

But this thread is about educated Somalis who wants to go back, reintegrate and do some positive change. Whats the next step for them when they are qualified

The best thing that well educated diaspora somalis can do is organising fundraising to build schools, universities, orphanage homes, hospitals, psychiatric centres (for our people who suffer from undiagnosed PTSD/bipolar/depression) back home. I know that may seem a lot but trust me being a helping hand to the locals (especially regarding education) will do wonders to our society, since our "leaders" clearly have no use.

There is a non-profit organisation called somaliforgottenminds (you can find them on Instagram with the same name) where they focus on building mentally hospitals for the less fortunate somalis whom struggle with severe cases of mental illnesses. Yall can check them out and donate !

I thought about this but it takes trust, have you heard about the latest controversy in Minneapolis where a somali organization intended to help the starving children in Somalia stole a quarter billion usd? This could have saved so many children, women, men and old and this was done none other than our own people, even an Imam of a masjid was invovled. So if I started something similar, I would be surprised if people are skeptical

Somalia needs banks, banking system and a good financial regulatory than anything else.
So many people back home have wonderful solutions, business ideas & strategies to grow their businesses. What they all lack is capital, investment Banks with good regulations.

Sadly the mainland somalis don't want to be fixed to be honest most people who came to somalia from Europe are either business men or politicians.

It's very rare or non so see high educated people going to somalia to raise people awareness and knowledge.

Rival qabil might kill you for some revenge business.

So truly it's not worth it.
