We are also black and visibly Muslim most of us. So how don’t think we stand out is beyond me. Everyone I meet know I’m Somali except whites from villages who know nothing

There is a comparable ethiopian/eritrean diaspora in the west but somehow people don’t know so much about them compared to us. I don’t expect to be on the level of some undiscovered tribe from Amazon, but when strangers start asking you if you are black or arab and know the word jaraar indoyar, that should ring some alarm bells. People too familiar with us.
