A lot of African Americans are mixed and so are whites. In fact, most Americans are mutts. And you have the one drop rule, but I think that’s kinda stupid, though

Nope,it wasn't based on his life.He did have a bad childhood though.

He also could have possibly had some white American English ancestry from a great great grandfather.I remember reading on his forum that his great great grandfather on his mum's side fell in love with his great great grandmother and he freed and married her.
