Was dhaanto ever supposed to be this dramatic?

I went to a Somali cultural event and they had a dhaanto troupe (if thats what its called) ....and they were very 'expressive' in short. Like risking a spinal cord injury level of expressive. From all the dhaanto music videos I've watched, not once have I seen people dancing like that. Fast forward, I randomly see a tiktok of a somali boy damn near breaking his neck dancing
