We’ve also been hit with drought, especially our rural community. Not at the rate Southern Somalis have been though because we are more concentrated in cities.Maybe in Southern Somalia, I've been in Puntland for the past few weeks and there isn't any famine anywhere. People are still donating to the poor (mobile money) and markets thriving. We're living the life up here
These cities drought affects villages and Bedouins who living on rainI'm just reporting on what I've seen in Garowe and Galkayo

Watched this today and in rural areas you could say this is true. And why is Al-Shabaab blocking humanitarian aid? They truly hate their own ppl.I havnt watched this yet share your thoughts. Is this an accurate description of what’s currently going on the country?
It has nothing to do with climate change but rather little to no agronomic skills, not following soil and water conservation practices, overgrazing, chopping down trees, corruption, terrorism, political instability, the list is endless. It's been happening for millenia and its dangerous to be repeating this leftist talking point by aid organizations and moronic ministers who think their only job is photo op and faan and with their own motives because you never address the root cause this way. Why is the conversation never about improving food security and the steps needed to achieve that? Why is the priority always about securing some bags of wheat and money from whitey? If anything, your relatives are the ones putting carbon into the atmosphere and turning into into Co2 thanks to the chopping for the charcoal trade.
