Egypt could've been much better I believe. A combination of all sorts of issues led to their downfall and conquests by foriengn nations. Heavily influenced by the Greeks and outright culturally assimilated by arab nomads losing their language.Imagine if ancient Egypt kept their culture and civilisation for centuries to come.
Imagine if they kept their traditions but also Modernise some aspect of their society and social norms.

An expansive Egypt that maintained a continued lineage like China would be a great civilization 100%
Egypt during their golden age were like the only civilisation in the region barring some minor ones that came and went in the fertile crescent.Diversity killed it.
Every civilisations wanted to visit and conquer Egypt.
it was exposed to every civilisations, religion and modern colonial rulers.
Egyptian had no chance.
Side note: people goes this far to believe the rulers of Egypt weren’t even humans but an intelligent extinct race.
