Far-Wadaad looks beautiful, imagine if we adopt it as our script again? Perhaps we could even mix in calligraphy with our poetry?

Actually shocked I can comprehend Far Wadaad. It actually makes sense to adopt it. The vast majority of Somalis have the Arabic alphabet down due to dugsi. The issue for the Latin script is that everyone seems to spell the same word differently. Unfortunately there are a lot of people that will start talking about arabization and "we're getting arabized" like we aren't using a latin alphabet right now lol.

I genuinely believe a modified far wadaad is the way to go for Somalia.

It’s also the oldest script, we have proof that it has existed for over 700 years.

Basics of the script:

So it's the same as Arabic but here's some things to know

o= اوو

e=ي

g=گْ

dh=ط
So if you want to use the word Geed 🌳 and the word karti 💪. You use the same گْ script?

Can گْ be used both as k and G?

Honestly probably easier to read than the Latin script for most
