They are community oriented, have their own schools, malls, restaurants, and now they have voted in politicians from their own community to serve them.

What is it that make ya'll more organized and work with eachother?

Beautiful. I’m happy to here that. Keep doing that and don’t let the Wakandans, Asgardians, and nacos gaslight you into their degeneracy. Trying to integrate with ajnabis will only provide you with some easy money and shallow relationships. No matter how hard any of my Somali and Berber family or me tried, it’s JUST DOESN’T WORK.

I feel like its partly due to how we intergrated with people around us, for example in the uk blacks there hate each other, you will see Somalis beefing with Nigerians, Nigerians beefing with Jamaicans etc.. which just leads to somalis being more of a outcast since white people already dont f*ck with them and they were the last to migrate there. in the us, for the most part there isn't known beef between blacks here like the uk, which in turn helped us at the end because at the end of the day your wealth and network go hand in hand.

Yes and no. Our version of black American culture is still very different and has concepts alien to other blacks. Even the “ghetto “ Somalis and gangbangers only share surface level similarities. Somalis and certain ethnic tribes as a whole don’t FULLY assimilate into another’s culture.

@KingSomali999 For example: The term Big Mama, Mama or Medea isn’t used in my dad’s version of black culture. It was considered rude and disrespectful to your actual mother. The reason why play cousins don’t exist. Overall, it’s way more conservative. Also, the versions of Christianity is very different. Even our soul food is still very different and baasto is still a staple. Speaking Ebonics on either side of my family is a death sentence.

It's easy to open a business in the UK there are entire streets that are Somali businesses it's also easily connected to Dubai and Somalia for people that have multiple businesses interests we are not isolated.
