Chances Somaliland getting independence is slim to none. We have a traitor as a representative who's pushing for greater Somalia. America already lost Ethiopia to BRICs and Eritrea hates them they aren’t gonna piss off the main govt and lose another ally in the horn to China just for a shithole enclave that doesn’t even have control over their borders. The US doesn’t want to recognize you cause once fighting starts happening in SSC or Awdal in protest of this and people die the US is gonna catch all the heat for supporting you guys it’ll be a failure like South Sudan and it could cost the republicans in the next election it’s totally not worth it for them.

I highly doubt any war will be happening in Awdal, along as Cirro honours what he promised us, SL will never attain true independence, FGS is corrupt to the core, and until that is fixed, I doubt any leader will even try to entertain the idea of unification.

We have our own grievances with the old Somali government and its use of our militias, as well as the lack of support for protecting the north during Ethiopia bombing raids, with the MOU thrown out, I don't see anything changing.
