The Somaliland Development Fund Joint Steering Committee had their meeting. The JSC is the highest decision-making governance structure of the SDF. The implementation period of the first phase (SDF I) is about to end. Preparations are underway to start a second phase of the SDF.

How much is allocated to Somaliland development fund?

The information I do know is that it has been reformed and no longer managed by the government in terms of funds.

Projects are scheduled based on the National Development Plan and An open invitation to tender is released. The Govt also doesn't pick the company that is done by externally who do ask the checks. Contract is agreed with sum and gets transferred to the contractor or receipt of work.

That's actually great news, then we can be sure the money will be used well.. If everything was run like that we would be in a much better position. It's sad our government is prone to diverse corruption..

I think the problem is when someone steals money somalis Will defend the persons action simply cause they share the same qabiil which is crazy

If they had any honour or patriotism in their Bone they would Held the person accountable and even denounce his actions by saying this person has disgraced our tribe
