I hope our leaders do not recieve him with petty my region or clan or hisbi is right and everyone else is wrong argument when diplomats know 'no side can be perfect' 100% in a conflict or in anything since no-one is god and if u conceal your faults you will be seen as part of the problem not the solution. These guys hear this from every nation they visit and will dismiss all of us as 'not genuine'.

The only philosophy we must preach to him is we seek a somalis heeshish ah and dunida la heeshish ah and our roadmap to such outcome.

We must tell him we have lessons learned from our pre-existing history which has many confirmed phases from ancient land of punt to independent sultanates prior to colonial history, the independence and civilian govt age, the communist dictator age and finally the civil war age and post 2000 the terror age.

We been exposed to so much in such a short period of time as a nation.

Our diplomats must understand the UN is managing the world under a rules based system, it's beyond the scale of our nation, region or continent. A rules based system ensures consistency and reliability and doesn't allow for global chaos. A rules based system means no special conditions separate for anyone. Any suggestions must also be applicable to all since it's a 'rule' and not 'exception'. They don't like 'exceptions' to the rule of law. Plus read the UN mission so anything you suggest enhance, advances and contributes to their vision not go in another direction.

Plus knows the 'blocs' in the UN such as neutral bloc, the axis blocs of different superpowers and general assembly nation based on their bi-lateral-tri later-multilateral interests.

The UN is 3 spheres. General assembly which are pawns, security council are weapon manufacturers and regional powers, the veto council of 5 nation who are the global powers. Pls keep this in-mind when u discuss with him

The UN has set the values it is pursuing globally which is human rights for all if u hold any imperialistic view(clan, race, ethnicity, political, gender, religion) that strips away other people rights and freedom, you will not be seen as a productive partner in any global discussion and sidelined since your working against their set values. I don't disagree with it at all, god gave everyone their own freedom plus responsibility and he will judge them on it, it's not your place to go around playing mini god in society.

Freedom and Equality are fundamental pillars of the UN, any1 trying to work against it will be sidelined.

Regional Powers/Weapons manufacturers will have their mini axis in their sphere of influence, even if their not security council take them more serious then non 5 rotating independent nations on the council.

Even tho North Korea-Iran are sanctioned it's an on-ground reality their capability and steer clear from disturbing them if you can and only tap into if Somalia can gain 'knowledge' transfer from their capabilities and what we can offer them if it's workable only. We shud also pursue Pakistan-India in terms of knowledge transfer in weaponry not 'trade' of weaponry. We just want the 'knowledge' not that we create it immediately but to 'store' it with our military institutions when we need to 'create' it and not be effected by 'trade sanctions'

Turkey-Saudi r important in the islamic world sphere due to turkey empire knowledge and weapons capability, Saudi due to their wealth. Geopolitical Security is our first interest so we r stable.

Somalis rely on 'weapons trade' and as u see u.n embargo can stop that in a heartbeat as it's imposed on all the general assembly that they can't not trade it with us. So long-term why repeat the same conditions when we can cut deals on 'knowledge' transfer either with our current friends or with new friends. We must aggressively put security interest first not just the immediate disaster but in the future also
