They can train Somali workers and build factories in coastal cities to make canned fish and other products. Somalia will also get 70% of what Turkey earns from the blue economy, and the deal will last only 10 years. After 10 years, Somalia will have the skills and experience to run its fishing industry and blue economy on its own.

i would do same thing if i was turkey clean out the oceans and pocket millions a year. If i was turkey why would i ever sink money into oil rigs which cost 100s of million and maybe even bilions once piping and other costs factored in. Knowing that Federal govt of somalia not stable..

every time there is a setback or issue in somalia people run to foreigners looking to be saved and sign non sense deals. Ever since MOU govt went crazy and started signing deals left and right.
